Most jobs these days require you to either have special skills or let go of your creative side. This is a gap that TikTok looks to bridge with the launch of its video resume.
The Founders of TikTok have made the search for jobs easy and appealing with the introduction of this function.
With the increase in career and job-related creative content, there is an opportunity to add more value to people’s TikTok experiences by boosting the platform’s usability as a channel for job recruitment.
As a result, the firm has created “TikTok Résumé,” a trial initiative that further expands and improves TikTok as a new channel for job discovery and recruitment.
Users will be able to apply for employment using short films on the site, which can be found at https://tiktokresumes.com.
When posting a video CV on TikTok, candidates are advised to be creative and sincere in showcasing their talents and experiences and use the hashtag #TikTokResumes in their caption.
With a TikTok video résumé, Tiktok hopes to link job searchers entry-level to experienced roles with some of the world’s most sought-after firms, including Chipotle, Target, WWE, Alo Yoga, Shopify, Contra, Movers+Shakers, and many more.
Candidates are encouraged to go through job postings, sample TikTok video resumes and profiles of TikTok producers who generate career- or employment-related content, and submit videos for open positions.
The website will be available from a variety of locations, including the TikTok Discover page. In addition, from July 7 to July 31, the initiative will take video resumes for job positions in the United States.
